Join Dawn and Becky Wilson for a relaxed and inspiring morning exploring the estate on Wednesday 16th September. This free guided walk is a chance to step behind the scenes, hear what’s been happening over the past year, and discover the story of this special place through the voices of its 2nd and 3rd generation custodians.
We’ll set off at 9:30am from the Paddock Car Park (what3words///bypasses.battle.handle) walking through the estate’s beautiful countryside, with stories, updates, and a few hidden gems along the way. The walk will last around 1 hour 30 minutes, finishing back where we started.
If you arrive before 9.30am head to the Den through the Larder and the first right in the main courtyard, and Dawn & Becky will be there to meet you.
Afterwards, you’re warmly invited to purchase a coffee from our café, the Larder at Burrough Court, and enjoy it in the Den ☕, whilst Dawn & Becky take you a little deeper into the rich history behind our 122-year-old rural estate and ask any questions.
A few things to note:
- Expect uneven terrain and stiles, so sturdy walking shoes or trainers are recommended.
- This is a free event, open to anyone who’d love to connect with the land and its story.
- We absolutely love dogs, and they’re welcome on the estate most of the time 🐾 however, for this walk we kindly ask that they are left at home.
